SC Cleared Technical Product Manager | Inside IR35 | Remote/Occasional Travel To London | 6 months



MUST have an active and transferable SC Clearance!



In this role you will be supporting the product and marketing head, and the technical product champion for all of our client's products and services.

Role Responsibilities:

* To assist with defining the go-to market strategy, helping the Head of Product and Marketing to understand the technical product positioning, key benefits and target customers.
* Ability to produce or translate technical content into customer/ benefits led output including for bids, white papers, brochures, application notes, user guides, technical service updates and input for press releases etc. (working with Marketing and Communications Manager who has responsibility for external messaging).
* To produce, in liaison with the Head of Product and Marketing product marketing plans and value-added services to ensure that our client becomes one of the leading providers in their specified markets.
* In liaison with the Marketing and Communications Manager ensure suitable and up to date marketing and sales collateral; user guides, FAQ's and sales benefits and fact sheets.
* Specifying market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and non-customers.
* In liaison with the Marketing and Communications Manager and Pricing Analyst assist in the product marketing launch of new products and services incorporating marketing literature, sales.
* Product evaluations and working in liaison with Systems Engineering teams to provide technical product expertise in launching new products and services internally and throughout the company.
* Driving a new product or service across the company (including engineering, marketing, logistics and support) through market requirements and positioning.
* Provide tech product support in customer meetings, demos and events.
* Requirements capture for internal and external software development projects.
* Experience with managing hardware manufacturers for technology products and determining new product capabilities, also how these integrate with our clients' products and infrastructure.
* Product competitor analysis and comparison. Production of collateral to be used for internal and external purposes.

Requirements for candidates:

* Good knowledge of IP networking.
* Technical Product Management experience is essential.
* Excellent written and verbal skills.
* Mobile Satcoms, communications or technology experience.
* Requirements capture and application.
* Used to managing hardware suppliers and assessing new and existing product capabilities.
* A professional and flexible approach.
* Project Management experience.
* Willingness and ability to learn quickly.
* Flexible, customer focused and self-motivated and team player.
* Must be organised, methodical and a good multi-tasker.
* Intermediate level or above with Word/Powerpoint/Excel.

As Product Owner, you will set the vision of what is required for a compelling offering in the at-home beauty market, then be responsible for the design and management of a set of products to achieve that vision and business objectives.

You will be the expert who owns the delivered functionality and you will manage any associated user experience of the system from conception to implementation and optimisation. You will determine the detail of what needs to be delivered, along with the prioritisation of those elements.

As the representative of the business stakeholders, you will work with them to help write clear user stories, ensuring that the technical team fully understands the business objectives.

Role & Responsibilities

Ensure delivery of business value proposition, prioritise and build out road maps for the suite of our products

Ensure business strategies have the customer and user perspective at the centre of decisions.

Conduct research and implement findings to ensure the suite of products strive to be market-leading globally.Define and lead the vision for the products across all touch points that will deliver the business objectives and customer needs

Working closely with the data from the growth team and define measurement strategies for launch, OKRs and testing activities.
Accountable for the delivered functionality and user experience from definition to implementation and optimisation

Prioritise the order of work and ensure the team is working on the most valuable requirements

Help define the backlog and regularly review

Undertake business and/or systems analysis in order to contextualise user stories

Accountable for the team's understanding of what is required; ensuring high quality and unambiguous requirements are defined
Make day-to-day decisions on functionality/user experience, basing those decisions on knowledge of the business area, customer and statistical evidence

Promote the principles of continuous, and measurable, improvement
Excite and motivate the technical team by sharing the value of the business objectives they are working to deliver

Assist with recruitment of new team members as appropriate
Skills and requirement

Expertise in delivering value from Agile methodologies
Ability to generate a vision for the domain which will encourage creativity that motivates the team to bring concepts to life.

Experience in marketplace platform

Expertise and deep knowledge of web and mobile platforms

Proven experience in successfully delivering measurable business value through software features or initiatives you have defined - essential

Experience in analysing and mapping system data flows to physical process flows - essential

Experience organising and enabling cross-functional teams to deliver to tight deadlines - essential

Experience in writing clear and succinct user stories that have led to successful delivery - essential

Experience in completing business and/or systems analysis to contextualise user stories - preferable
