Data Platform Engineer / Architect - Remote Contract

We're working with a client who is building their data platform from scratch and looking for an experienced Data Platform Engineer or Architect to help shape and deliver it.

This is a genuine greenfield opportunity. There's no existing data infrastructure to work around - the team has made a clear technology decision and needs someone to run with it. The architecture is built around a data products approach, with Snowflake running on GCP as the core platform and dbt handling internal data transformation.



What you'll be doing

You'll be the lead voice on platform design and implementation - standing up the Snowflake environment on GCP, defining the architecture for how data products are structured and served, and building the foundations that the wider data engineering work will sit on top of.



What we're looking for

* Strong Snowflake expertise - architecture, configuration, access control, performance
* Comfortable working within GCP (networking, IAM, GCS for staging)
* Experience designing data products or data mesh-style architectures
* Familiarity with dbt as part of the transformation layer
* Clear communicator - this is an English-speaking environment



The setup

Fully remote. Expected start mid-August to early September.

You'll act as the senior technical authority, setting engineering standards, influencing AI strategy, and mentoring engineers across the organisation.

What you'll bring:
-Staff/Principal-level software engineering experience.
-Proven track record building and deploying production AI systems.
-Expertise in LLMs, RAG, AI agents, and modern AI architectures.
-Strong background in distributed systems, backend platforms, and cloud environments.
-Experience mentoring senior engineers and leading through technical influence rather than direct management.

Data Engineer - Salesforce Integration Specialist

6-Month Contract | £450/day | Outside IR35 📍 King's Cross, London (2-3 Days per Week Onsite) 📅 Start Date: 3rd August

We're supporting a leading Salesforce Partner on a confidential end-client engagement and are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with strong Salesforce integration expertise.

This role will be focused on building and supporting data integration solutions with Salesforce at the centre of the architecture, connecting multiple business systems and data sources through scalable, reliable pipelines.

The Role

You will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining data flows into and out of Salesforce, helping to ensure business-critical data is available, accurate and synchronised across the wider technology estate.

Working alongside Salesforce Consultants, Architects and technical stakeholders, you'll play a key role in delivering complex integration solutions and enabling seamless connectivity between platforms.

Key Responsibilities

* Build and maintain data pipelines integrating Salesforce with internal and third-party systems
* Design ETL/ELT processes for data ingestion, transformation and synchronisation
* Develop and support API-led integrations and data services
* Deliver batch and real-time data integration solutions
* Ensure data quality, governance and integrity across integrated systems
* Work closely with Salesforce teams to support platform enhancements and ongoing projects
* Troubleshoot integration issues and optimise performance
* Contribute to integration architecture and best practices

Required Experience

* Strong commercial experience as a Data Engineer
* Proven experience integrating Salesforce with enterprise systems and applications
* Experience building and maintaining scalable data pipelines
* Strong SQL and data transformation skills
* Experience working with REST and SOAP APIs
* Strong understanding of integration patterns and data architecture
* Experience handling complex datasets from multiple sources
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills

Highly Desirable

* MuleSoft
* Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP, Bulk API, Platform Events)
* Experience with middleware and iPaaS platforms
* Python or other scripting languages
* Data modelling and master data management
* Event-driven and real-time integration architectures

Azure Data Engineer

£500 per day | Outside IR35 | 6-Month Contract

We're partnering with an end-user organisation undertaking a major data migration and cloud modernisation programme and are looking for an experienced Azure Data Engineer to support the transition to a modern Azure-based data platform.

This role will play a key part in migrating legacy data environments, building scalable cloud-native solutions, and enabling the business to maximise the value of its data assets.

The Role

As an Azure Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and optimising data pipelines and data platform capabilities within Azure. Working closely with architects, analysts and business stakeholders, you'll help deliver a modern, scalable and high-performing data ecosystem.

The successful candidate will have strong Azure Data Engineering experience, with particular expertise in Databricks and large-scale data migration projects.

Key Responsibilities

* Design and develop scalable data pipelines within Azure
