Role Overview: As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be a key player, collaborating with Product Owners, SMEs, and the team to deliver exceptional customer outcomes through continuous development and delivery. You'll have the opportunity to shape the development standards, implement improvements, and provide technical oversight through design and code reviews.

Tech Stack:

* UI: TypeScript, React, Next.Js, HTML / CSS, Github Actions, Docker, AWS - CDK, ECS, ALB, VPC.
* API's: Go, Rest, CDK. AWS - CDK, Lambda, API Gateway, Dynamo DB, Event Bridge, S3, Serverless, and event-driven architecture.
* Platforms: Go, CDK, AWS.

Skills and Experience:

* Proficient in JavaScript and ideally Go, with a hunger for learning and implementing new technologies.
* Strong background in modern development practices, including Agile, DevOps, and cloud-native environments.
* Ability to contribute fresh ideas to the team on technologies, solutions, and delivery approaches.
* Collaborative spirit, enjoying working through challenges with colleagues while having fun along the way.
* Passion for developing others through mentoring and coaching.

* Base salary, £70,000-£100,000 depending on experience.

AWS Software Engineer

£65K Base & Remote

We are an interactive learning company, with the mission of making education fun! Having started our journey through a series of print products, many of which became best sellers. We have since transitioned to the Educational Tech space (Ed-Tech), where we are currently edifying the gaming industry through a series of exciting games.

Joining as a Software Engineer you'll be reporting into the Senior Software Engineer. Helping implement and maintain new software solutions. Participating in technical discussions with the team, designing system components, monitoring system stability and reviewing code.

About you:

* Knowledge of cloud infrastructure as services (AWS)
* Typescript development
* JavaScript development, using Node.JS & React.
* Familiarity with CI/CD tooling
* Familiarity with REST API design
* Infrastructure as code, ideally CDK/Cloudformation

AWS DevOps Engineer - London - £80,000

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure high systems availability across a multi-cloud environment, primarily focusing on AWS and Linux systems while also understanding comparative solutions in Azure. This role will involve maintaining hands-on technical expertise while also encompassing future Team Lead responsibilities.



Key Responsibilities:

* Ensure high availability of systems across a multi-cloud environment, with a primary focus on AWS and Linux infrastructure.
* Understand comparative solutions in Azure to support Lebara's dual vendor cloud strategy.
* Maintain full hands-on technical status while gradually incorporating Team Lead responsibilities.
* Collaborate with the Infrastructure Services Manager to design and implement best practice solutions for the multi-cloud environment.
* Play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the multi-cloud environment, including installation, maintenance, and implementation of infrastructure-based systems.
* Work closely with other teams within the Infrastructure Services Group (Network Services, Platform Services, and Database Services) to ensure seamless integration and support across all infrastructure components.
* Contribute to achieving world-class benchmarks of customer service and support within the Infrastructure Services Team.
* Assist in achieving Lebara's business objectives by ensuring the reliability and efficiency of the infrastructure supporting its operations.
* Reporting Structure:
* This role will report directly to the Infrastructure Services Manager and will collaborate closely with other members of the Infrastructure Services Team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

* Strong experience with AWS and Linux systems administration.
* Familiarity with comparative solutions in Azure.
* Demonstrated ability to maintain hands-on technical expertise while taking on leadership responsibilities.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a multi-cloud environment.
* Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
* Prior experience in designing and implementing infrastructure solutions is preferred.
* Relevant certifications in AWS and Azure are advantageous.
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred.
