Summary:

Retail corporation seeking talented Data Analyst to be responsible for qualitative and quantitative analysis of enterprise-wide data. Ideal candidate will be affectively bridging the gap in communication between data scientists/ data engineers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

* Connect with business teams to capture and analyze complex business problems.
* Provide guidance and support on Self-Serve capabilities using Tableau and Redshift.
* Ideal candidate will be building statistical and regression models to support applications and will be part of a team operationalizing the model outcomes into user facing applications.
* Candidate should be more business savvy than Data Science savvy and will be involved in translating to stakeholders, figuring out issues and helping them deliver data stories better, in addition to hands-on involvement with data.
* Highly experienced in developing Tableau Dashboards and data models using custom sql, data extracts and real time integrations with Redshift data base
* Design/ Architect frameworks to Operationalize ML models through serverless architecture and support unsupervised continuous training models
* Take over and scale our data models (Tableau, Dynamo DB, Kibana)
* Communicate data-backed findings to a diverse constituency of internal and external stakeholders
* Participate in technical decisions and collaborate with talented peers.

Qualifications:

* Experience in building unsupervised continuous learning models and work with data engineers to optimize and operationalize
* Tableau, Dynamo DB, Kibana
* Proficient in handling large volumes of data with excellent SQL skills
* Experience designing and implementing AWS big data and analytics solutions
* AWS (Services: Redshift, Lambda, Apache Pinot, Sage Make Kinesis/Kafka, S3, Glue and Athena)
* Streaming technologies and orchestration tools such as Spark, Kafka, Airflow, Kubernetes
* Advanced knowledge and experience in online transactional (OLTP) processing and analytical processing (OLAP) databases, data lakes, and schemas.
* Hands on experience building regression, classification, Deep learning models and taking it to production with good accuracy rates

Reporting IT Service Management Analyst - Hybrid, London, up to £50,000

The purpose of the role is to deliver clear and concise business metrics/KPI reports that
accurately measure activity, performance, quality of service, and progress towards the
overall company objectives.

This role will be the central point for the production of Technology reports, with a focus on
customer experience and the candidate will use the reports to run and manage customer
forum meetings to ultimately improve customer experience.

It is envisaged that the successful candidate will, in time (after 6-12 months), assume
more responsibilities in core Service Management functions of Incident, Problem and
Change management.

Role & Responsibilities

* Utilise a range of technology tools to extract produce reports and dashboards focusing on
* performance of technology organisation and the way it influences end customers.
* Work with business functions to develop business focused reporting and incorporate into
* Technology reports.
* Chair and manage meetings with technology and business units to review above
* reporting, identify areas for improvement, identify and follow up on actions.
* Provide metrics and trend analysis to identify the major drivers of Technology incidents.

Skills & Qualifications

* Very strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Strong Reporting Skills
* Experience working in a Technology organisation
* Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products
* Experience in IT Service Management tools and solutions
* Understanding of modern technologies, with particular emphasis on cloud services
* Experience in producing management information reports.
* Experience in chairing and managing meetings with a wide range of stakeholders
* Strong analytical skills
* Awareness of ITIL concepts and related best practices
* Solid organizational skills including attention to detail.
* Ability to lead calls assertively while maintaining a collaborative mindset.

This candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining their insight suite, in which we will be delivering vital information to customers via a be-spoke platform, as well as providing insights across the organisation to help drive business goals and product strategy.

This role is highly collaborative and cross-functional, as this person will work closely with stakeholders both external and internal, to deliver insights and trends that exceed the expectations of users.

Key Responsibilities:
● Own data insights across the organisation, building new dashboards, data sets and analysis

● Organising and transforming information into comprehensible structures

● Using data to predict trends in the customer base whilst delivering reports to our client base to illustrate platform usage and effectiveness

● Produce and maintain effective and accurate user documentation and educational materials to help our clients understand and use our data products

● Work closely with Product & Engineering teams to identify, collect, migrate and analyse data from a range of sources

● Using tools and techniques to visualise data in easy-to-understand formats, such as diagrams and graphs

● Preparing reports and presenting these to management, internal stakeholders and clients

● Support the delivery and use of products and services to our clients

Experience Required
● You should have prior experience as a Data Analyst

● Strong experience working with SQL (MySQL & Postgres)

● Strong experience with AWS QuickSight and AWS Redshift in particular and ideally RDS, S3, Athena & Glue.

● Any scripting experience using Python would be advantageous

● Experience working with Excel / Google Sheets
