Senior GIS Service Administrator

Location: Oslo

Role Overview: An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Senior GIS Service Administrator to join the team in Oslo. In this capacity, the individual will play a crucial role in service administration, map preparation, spatial data management, and active participation in the GIS team. The role also involves maintaining and advancing automated data management and charting processes for offshore survey projects. Specific responsibilities encompass:

* Administering and maintaining enterprise geodatabases and data flows
* Developing and supporting web map applications using ArcGIS Enterprise
* Automating mapping processes using Python
* Coordinating data and data storage
* Actively engaging in global forums focused on GIS and R&D

Requirements:

* Proven experience in enterprise GIS administration and/or ESRI technologies
* Proficiency in Python and/or Java for automation and data management (highly advantageous)
* Familiarity with PostgresSQL

Additional Details:

* English is the primary business language; knowledge of a Nordic language is advantageous
* Remote work flexibility (up to 2 days per week)

Key Responsibilities and experience:

My client is looking for a dynamic and committed individual to handle contract administration and demonstrate proficiency in cost and pricing for their expanding project portfolio. This role is a full-time, direct-hire role and hybrid - in office on average 3 times a week in Tysons Corner / Vienna, VA. Need to be eligible to obtain a US Government Clearance.

Role & Responsibilities

* Manage GSA Schedules, including audits, EPAs and IFF payments; responsible for the preparation, negotiation, acceptance and administration of contracts.
* Negotiating and modifying standard contracts and assists in negotiating and modifying non-standard contracts.
* Work on billing, pricing and make sure it's correct; developing cost and price proposals
* Government agency side experience
* Tech experience is a plus
