Data Lead (East Belgium)

About the Role:

We are searching for a talented and experienced Data Science Leader to join our growing SaaS team in the East Belgium region. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in driving our data science initiatives forward. You will be responsible for leading a team of data scientists, engineers, and analysts, while also developing and implementing innovative solutions using machine learning and data analytics.

Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage a team of data scientists, engineers, and analysts.
* Design, build, and deploy machine learning models using tools.
* Architect and implement data pipelines on AWS and Kubernetes.
* Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, etc.)
* Communicate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
* Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in data science and machine learning.

Qualifications:

* 8+ years of experience in data science, data engineering or machine learning
* Proven leadership experience in a technical environment.
* Strong proficiency in programming languages like Java and Python.
* In-depth knowledge of machine learning tools like PyTorch, TensorFlow, and scikit-learn.
* Experience with cloud platforms like AWS and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
* Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
* A passion for data and a strong desire to make a real-world impact.
