Software Tech Lead - Helsinki

Join a dynamic team at a leading provider of medical devices in Europe. We are currently seeking a Technical Lead to spearhead the development of our innovative solutions for our client.



Role and Responsibilities:

As the Technical Lead, you will have end-to-end responsibility for the development of our client's solutions, including architecture, design, code quality, and system stability.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Leading solution implementation and ensuring adherence to the technical roadmap.
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to scope and prioritize tasks.
* Mentoring and guiding other engineers.
* Partnering with management on decision-making and process improvement.
* Driving innovation and improvement in project management and technical practices.



Skills and Requirements:

* Strong understanding of the software development life cycle and Agile methodologies.
* Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or equivalent.
* Minimum 6 years of software design/development experience, with expertise in AWS (Fargate, EC2 containers, API Gateway, Kubernetes, security, core services) and Python programming.
* Hands-on experience in web application development and full-stack development.
* Familiarity with architectural patterns and design principles for cloud-based applications.
* Experience in the medical industry is viewed as beneficial.
* Positive attitude and strong communication skills.
* Fluency in Finnish and English.



Location and remote working:

This position offers flexibility with remote work, with occasional office visits in Helsinki. Mileage reimbursement is provided for trips to secondary office locations.
