Job Title: Data Engineer

Location: Remote within the US (Eastern Time Zone preferred)

Salary: Up to $80,000 - $90,000 base, with a 401k match up to 4%



Role Overview: We are seeking a Data Engineer with 1-2 years of experience in data management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up data warehouses, data lakes, and ETL pipelines. This role involves building, maintaining, and improving our data infrastructure, as well as rearchitecting systems, shutting down old processes, and ensuring overall data cleanliness and streamlining.



Role Requirements:

* 1-2 years of experience in Data Engineering
* Experience in setting up data warehouses, data lakes, and ETL pipelines
* Proficiency with either Redshift or Snowflake
* Familiarity with Glue or NiFi for data integration
* Strong skills in Python coding
* Experience with AWS Cloud services
* Ability to work independently in a remote environment
* Strong communication skills and ability cooperate with cross-functional teams



Responsibilities:

* Design, build, and maintain data warehouses, data lakes, and ETL pipelines
* Optimize existing data infrastructure for performance and scalability
* Rearchitect systems to improve efficiency and reliability
* Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and develop solutions
* Implement best practices for data management and governance
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data processing and storage
* Document processes, workflows, and data models
