Cloud Infrastructure Architect

As a Cloud Infrastructure Architect, you will lead the design, implementation, and integration of technical solutions tailored to specific technology, industry, or business needs. You'll be instrumental in delivering high-quality solutions to clients, navigating varied business requirements, and championing the client's interests throughout the construction phase. Your role involves providing guidance to technical teams and ensuring the successful execution of projects.
You'll work on diverse, large-scale projects and collaborate with global partners, engaging with a wide range of technologies including Azure, AWS, GCP, and private clouds.

You'll collaborate with teams, cloud partners, and third-party service providers across various industries, contributing alongside peers in architecture, platform engineering and project management. Your role involves creating both high-level and detailed designs within agile frameworks.

We need an Architect adept at collaborating in cross-functional teams, employing agile methodologies, conducting workshops, and understanding both business and technical requirements. You possess a drive to lead, challenge, and excel, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor to customers. Your skill set spans technology, industry knowledge, stakeholder management, and leadership, enabling you to design innovative solutions for complex challenges.

Skills and Experience:
*Cloud Consultancy: Assessing, planning, and costing cloud adoption and IT transformation.
*Platform Engineering: Designing and leading platform engineering squads, employing DevSecOps principles and technologies like Kubernetes, serverless architecture, and various cloud service models.
*Provisioning hyperscaler technology in private and edge cloud environments, e.g., Azure Stack HCI or Hub, AWS Outposts, Anthos.
*Cloud Migration: Agile migration of platforms, products, and applications to cloud environments.
*Utilizing cloud-native operations tooling, understanding different operations models, optimising cloud services using FinOps and SRE methodologies.
*Cloud Service Adoption: Enhancing and optimizing customer cloud solutions.
*Desirable - Experience with DevSecOps, SRE, Agile Delivery, and Product-Based delivery methodologies for automating and optimizing cloud solutions.

Preferred Experience:
*Leading large-scale change and transformation projects, particularly in cloud-native environments.
*Designing and implementing cloud solutions.
*Strong expertise in IaaS and PaaS, covering a range of technologies including compute, storage, network, virtualization, and automation.
*Familiarity with Agile Delivery technologies such as CI/CD Pipelines, GitHub, and Infrastructure as Code.
*In-depth knowledge and experience with at least one Cloud Hyperscaler (Microsoft Azure / AWS / Google).
