DevOps Engineer

As our client continuously brings updated features to fulfil the DevOps needs of their organization, they need to be able to maintain their present DevOps platform while building the next generation DevOps platform. The new platform is more innovative, focusing on modern application architectures and making use of technologies such as containerize applications, serverless functions, and Public Cloud services.

What You Will Do

* Maximize efficiency, maintainability, and security of operational processes through automation and collaboration
* Streamline operations and processes through automation, building, maintaining, and integrating tools for deployment, monitoring, and operational activities
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues in dev, test, and production environments
* Evangelize DevOps principles through collaboration with customers, operations, and software development teams, helping the organization move forward efficiently

Who You Are

* Experience with Linux/Unix administration
* Experience with automation/configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef.
* Developer with an interest in application deployment and network operations or a system administrator with a passion for scripting and coding.
* Proficiency in Bash/Python
* Experience with Containerization tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift
* Understanding of infrastructure automation tools like Terraform/CloudFormation
* Basic Java knowledge
* Knowledgeable on IT practices related to Source Code Management, Agile Development, Continuous Integration, and Release Automation.
