I am working with an established & growing healthcare company that is looking to bring on a Remote full-time, permanent Senior Data Engineer with Azure, SQL and Azure Data Factory experience . Some responsibilities include:

-Actively participate requirement elicitation sessions to identify and document business functions data needs Estimate efforts to develop and refine functional and non-functional requirements.

-Estimate tasks with granularity and accuracy commensurate with the information provided. Lead rapid prototyping and POC development efforts and design enterprise-grade data services Design and develop enterprise dataflow architecture and implementation best practices.

-Design, develop and deliver cost-efficient data engineering solutions that meet business line and enterprise requirements. Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc. Work with stakeholders, including the Executive, Product, Data, and Design teams, to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.

-Configure cloud infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and Azure technologies. Ensure standardization of SQL coding practices and adherence to coding standards, change control, and SQL best practices Design and implement ETL packages in accordance with documented templates and standards as defined by the data management group Research, Diagnose, and Monitor Performance Bottlenecks, etc. Build dimensional representations of data either in the data repository or in OLAP tools

Job Description
Sr Level Role $170k / 100% remote / paid quarterly travel for team building.

Reporting to the CTO, the Software Engineer will be a member of a small, driven, and growing team focused on delivering best in class cloud-based server and web and mobile front-end applications that extend the capabilities and care offered by the aptihealth platform and related services. You'll bring forth new ideas that further empower the product and the team while showcasing your passion for emerging cloud technologies and best practices.

As a Software Engineer candidate you should have a strong technical background, experienced in cloud architectures, database and UI design and the possess ability to solve complex problems individual and part of a highly collaborative team.

Essential Functions

Write scalable, robust, secure, testable, efficient, and easily maintainable code
Work within and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions across a full-stack of development tools and technologies
Troubleshoot production issues
Collaborate with the team continuously improve our software engineering practices
Work with product owners to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios
Bring a passion for innovation, experiment with and learn new technologies, participate in internal & external technology communities, and mentor other members of the engineering community
Knowledge And Skills
Proven experience as a software engineer for cloud-based SaaS and/or mobile solutions
Experience developing microservice and serverless architectures, preferably utilizing Amazon lambda functions
Experience with Elasticsearch
Experience with DynamoDB and Redis databases a plus or another SQL database.
Front-end development experience with React (React Native also helpful)
Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools
Experience developing mobile web and iOS and Android Applications is a plus
Experience with Python, HTML and basic CSS
Experience with Amazon Redshift or other Data warehouse
Experience with healthcare information technology
B.S. or M.S in computer science or information systems or 8 years related work experience.
Master's degree in a related field or Master of Business Administration with technology as a core component preferred.
At least 5+ years of software development experience
At least 2 years of experience in AWS or other cloud computing platforms
At least 3 years of experience in Agile practices
Software regulation experience in a healthcare environment preferred
