The Client

This organization as a whole is currently going through one of largest platform implementation projects in the world. In the end, over 100,000,000 customers and over 280,000 employees will utilize the new, self-service platform running on AWS.



The Role

They are looking for a Cloud Developer who can come in and:

* Take design specifications for a front-end page or backend API and drive implementation to that spec
* Write tests as part of implementation
* Identify and escalate possible issues in the designs
* Interface with other teams to build new features and manage/coordinate releases.
* Participate in weekly scrum ceremonies to refine the implementation plans for upcoming bodies of work.



What You'll Need to Get the Job Done…

· 3-5 Years' Full-Stack Exp (Java, C#, Or Golang)

· with end to end testing frameworks (Cypress)

· Java 8

· OpenShift and Kubernetes

· Spring Boot

· Jenkins CI + UrbanCode deploy/Harness CD

Job Title: Network Security Engineer
Duration: 6month contract
Location: Dallas, TX (fully remote except for 2 times a month on prem)

Key Responsibilities
* Design, plan, implement and maintain private, public, and hybrid cloud network solutions/connectivity, all aspects of the network infrastructure, supporting medium to large size offices
* Deployment, configuration, and management of all network infrastructure on TB's store, office, DC, and colocation sites * Design, plan, implement and maintain Palo Alto, Checkpoint, and Fortinet firewall in the larger size network environment
* Collaborate with team members and various groups to identify and develop scalable network designs, solutions, and policy recommendation
* Ensure continued smooth operation of the global network infrastructure, working to minimize network downtime and the effects of downtime users by scheduling needed maintenance or upgrades to provide minimal disruption of service to users.
* Monitor and analyze network performance proactively to detect and resolve issues, and perform stringent network testing before implementing solutions
* Support internal application groups by identifying and presenting network-impacting requirements to other members of the network engineering team
* Perform configuration, upgrades, and deployment of routers and switches for all store locations
* Lead network projects, including the installation of new network hardware or software, and network configuration and design
* Support the Service Desk with troubleshooting circuit, equipment, and network issues and be the senior resource to assist with resolving critical/high impact customer issues
* Present solutions and make recommendations to departmental leadership
* Document timely status updates and accurately document problem resolution
* Research and evaluate emerging technology for future applications
* Participate in the rotating "on-call" schedule with other team members, providing third-tier support, solving the more complex networking trouble
* Provide guidance, work direction, and information to other technical network employees
* Assist other Network Engineers on projects, performing various tasks as required
* Articulate effectively complex ideas/networking concepts through a business lens

Key Qualifications:

* Experienced with Palo Alto
* Experienced with Firewall and loadbalancers
* In-depth knowledge of Networks, Ethernet, TCP/IP, VLANs, IP Routing (OSPF, BGP), QoS
* Experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco network routers, switches, and firewalls for medium and large-sized locations and enterprises.
* Experience with PCI/PII; IDS/IPS; APM; Designing and implementing Business Continuation Plans; Troubleshooting multi-vendor routers and switches; Network Management tools (NetScout, SolarWinds, Netflow Analyzer) preferred
