IT Operations Engineer

About the Role:
You'll be operating and maintaining a complex, modern IT environment that spans on‑prem, cloud, and containerized solutions. You'll work hands‑on with virtualization, networking, storage, automation, and monitoring tools-ensuring stability, performance, and continuous improvement across the infrastructure.



Contract Details:
-Location: Copenhagen (onsite 3 days/week)
-Duration: 3-6 months
-Engagement: Freelance / Contractor

Requirements:
-Experience:5+ years of documented experience operating complex IT environments.

-Operating Systems: Deep knowledge of Windows
Some experience with Linux (an advantage)

-Virtualization: Solid, hands-on experience with virtualization technologies

-Networking & Storage: Experience managing network equipment and storage solutions

-Cloud: Practical experience with one or more cloud platforms: GCP, Azure, or AWS

-Scripting: Strong skills in PowerShell and/or Python

-Infrastructure as Code: Experience with Terraform or similar IaC tools

-Monitoring: Familiarity with SCOM, Prometheus, Grafana

-Containers: Experience with containers and orchestration platforms (strong advantage)

-Language: Fluent in a Nordic language (Danish, Swedish, or Norwegian)
