Aufgaben

Als DevOps Engineer werden dich unter anderem folgende Aufgaben erwarten:

* Erstellung von DevOps und Automatisierungskonzepten, z.B. im Cloud-Umfeld
* Entwicklung von Systemarchitekturen gemäß der Kunden- und Sicherheitsanforderungen
* Beteiligung an der Weiterentwicklung strategischer Vorgehensweisen für DevOps, CI/CD, Container und Cloud
* Übernahme komplexer Aufgaben in den Bereichen Softwareentwicklung und Betrieb agiler DevOps-Team (System und Software Engineers)





Dein Profil

* 2 Jahre Berufserfahrung als DevOps Engineer
* Erfahrung als OpenSource Technologien (Docker, Chef, Jenkins, Terraform etc.)
* Kenntnisse in Bereich Cloud-Technologien (AWS, Azure, GCP)
* Expertise im Aufbau und Betrieb von (vorwiegend Linus-basierten) Web-Applikationen und Systemlösungen

As a scale-up, they offer a data platform with more than 50 different formats (such as video games, quizzes, etc.) that allows their clients to collect data from their consumers. This allows different clients to change their business focus and adapt the different products they will release in the future.

Talking about their clients, I think it's important to mention some names like Paris Saint-Germain, Nestle, L'Oréal and many others!

Because of their success with the first product, they just released a new fidelity platform. That's why they are expanding their team and are looking for a new DevOps Engineer who knows the AWS environment!

Skills requirement :

- a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science

- experience with AWS (they use the latest tools, so obviously the AWS environment! For example : S3, ECS )

- Experience with Containers, IaC and Continuous Integration/Continuous deployment tools such as Docker and Kubernetes, Ansible and/or Terraform, Gitlab and/or Jenkins

- Basic understanding of networking and monitoring.

- languages: English and French

We are currently looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer to work for a well known and reputable cloud and hosting company. As a senior member of the team you will act as the point of contact for client needs and making sure the project is delivered on time.

There are some huge expansion plans going on at the moment and with that in mind we are looking for senior members to help lead the projects and really showcase the quality of work from our client.

Key Responsibilities

* Work with Solutions Architects, Cloud architects and Engineers to lead the build of on-time, high quality customer solutions
* Take the lead in client project meetings and workshops
* Produce structured, clear and accurate technical documentation
* Provide assistance to our engineers in resolving customer issues
* Work closely with the support and engineering teams to ensure that solutions can be managed in a scalable, automated way
* Build relationships with key clients and partners, becoming a trusted technology advisor



Skills & Experience

* Expert knowledge in AWS technologies and services
* knowledge in Microsoft applications and services (Windows Server, SQL, IIS, AD, .NET, Powershell)
* Knowledge of open-source technologies and services (Linux, Apache, MySQL, Bash)
* Knowledge of DevOps tools and frameworks (e.g. Code repositories, Automation [Infrastructure as code / scripting languages] CI/CD tools etc.)
* Orchestration and automation of maintenance and support operations to reduce manual processes wherever feasible
* Write and approve technical implementation documentation
* Diagnose complex support issues and work under pressure to resolve issues in the quickest possible time to minimize any impact to customers
* Maintain and develop knowledge and skills in AWS and Microsoft services
* Lead the delivery of Professional Services to mid-market businesses

* React in a calm and professional manner when faced with unexpected challenges

* Provide ownership and accountability for delivery and deployment of designated new and changed customer solutions
* Mentor and share knowledge with colleagues to raise the general skill level within the team and wider business
* Good working knowledge of security within a hosting environment including hardening of customer solutions in order to minimise risks to the customer.

My client are a highly scalable, heavily backed data analytic fintech start-up. They are looking for an AWS DevOps engineer to join their CTO in their exciting growth plans.



They create cost transparency for their clients through bench mark applications, API analytics, and transaction cost analysis against live foreign exchange markets.

The Role:

* 3+ years AWS
