    Their Investor Relations & Hosted Solutions team is looking for an experience Backend Java Technical Lead with a strong sense of ownership who loves to solve problems with original thinking. You will work along with 4 backend and 4 frontend developers which make up the development squad.

    In this role, you are part of a team following agile methodologies. Your responsibilities are to own backend development for the squad's domain of web-based market data and trading solutions. You will contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.

    What you will do

    * Own, design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable backend architecture and components.
    * Design and deliver for scalability, performance, and reliability
    * Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.

    The team have worked hard one building the main data platform / infrastructure and now looking for someone who wants to take responsibility working on the front end of the data platform, and establishing a solid reporting and analytics environment for the group.

    You'll be working with many different data sets from sales, operational, environmental and be able to deliver value adding reports and dashboards to allow the business to make educated decisions.

    Experience / Requirements

    - Computer Science or Economics Degree
