    My client, an established yet growing consultancy based in Leeds are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to continue the growth and reputation of the business. The position is one that is starting as soon as possible on site in the Leeds office which is easily accessible by private vehicle or public transport as the majority of the time you will be there once restrictions have eased.

    As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be advising on best practice as you will be working closely with the development team. Your responsibilities will be to build CICD pipelines from scratch and help deploy the lambda functions to their infrastructure. This role is hands on and perfect for someone to continue their growth both personally and professionally.

    Must have :

    * Amazon Web Services (AWS) experience
    * Strong experience with infrastructure as code (IAC) using tools like terraform and Ansible
    * CICD Build Tools- Experience building this from scratch using tools such as Jenkins
    * Elastic Container Service (ECS )
    * Kubernetes experience
    * Bash
    * Docker
    * Deploying lambdas
    * Python or Java Coding Language
    * Good communication skills

    The role will include :

    * Building and deploying CICD pipelines
    * Working closely with the development team
    * Test release and deploy process
    * Working from numerous sites and going to the Sussex office at least four times a week

You will be an experienced DevOps engineer using your knowledge and skills to transform our software deployment process towards a fully automated solution. You will be joining a new DevOps team and have the opportunity to shape the direction and strategy of the team going forward.

    Roles & Responsibilities;

    * Deep knowledge of writing Infrastructure as Code and delivery pipelines.
    * Build, configure, run and patch Kubernetes clusters.
    * Work with Software Developers to release code (including new applications) across the application stack (development, beta, production, etc).
    * Take an automated-first approach to all tasks.
    * Engineer new tools and applications that improve production and deployment capabilities for all teams.
    * Work on projects across the business to ensure operational excellence.
    * Design and write automated tests within a CI framework on configuration, packaging and deployment scripts.
    * Work closely with Infrastructure and Security Engineers to implement operational requirements; identify and fix bugs and streamline development workflows.

    * Work with the Release Manager to ensure successful and streamlined production deployments.

    Must have experience;

    * Strong background in software engineering (using languages such as Java, Python, etc).
    * Extensive experience with Linux and virtualization.
    * Extensive system design knowledge.
    * Formidable experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
    * Deep knowledge of containerisation.
    * Confident with Ansible, Terraform, GIT for configuration management.
    * Substantial experience with AWS.
    * CI/CD tooling and delivery best practices.
    * Network and security knowledge.
    * Experience deploying, managing and troubleshooting of software applications (including Web Apps and B2B).

    I am exclusively engaged with an award-winning IT Management Consultancy who are looking to beef up their team by recruiting Cloud Architects, ideally with a background delivering E2E solutions in either Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS). The organisation have been established in the technology space for 20 years and have a diverse client base spanning verticals including Financial Services, Banking, Oil & Gas, Healthcare and the UK Government. Cloud is their specialism and they've delivered projects worth north of £1bn in the last few years, with 2021 looking even better.

    Role Overview

    Your role will play a huge part in that, acting as an SME within the Cloud space and focusing on the delivery of enterprise-scale solutions in an Agile environment. You will work closely with numerous stakeholders (both internal and external), with a focus on developing a pragmatic customer-centric strategy and approach all the way through to designing and delivering the solution.

    Travel & Working Patterns

    Your role will be home-based, with client-site travel expected (3 days' per week) once COVID is in the rearview mirror (you will be 100% remote for the next 3-6 months as a minimum). Their clients are located in the North West, Midlands and Yorkshire and you will have any travel expensed covered by the organisation.

    Role Requirements

    * Cloud Skills - You must have proven experience in architecting and delivering high-quality and cost-effective Cloud solutions, whether it is migration or transformation projects. Skills in either Google Cloud (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure are therefore essential.
    * Architecture - Proven experience of areas including API architecture, Microservices, Serverless, RAML, SOAP, SOA etc.
    * CI/CD & DevOps - Experience working with tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Jenkins etc.
    * Stakeholder Management - Proven experience working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, with prior consulting experience a bonus.
    * Delivery - Knowledge of Agile/Waterfall delivery methods.

    My client a global consultancy firm are looking for a number of Platform Engineers who will work with a range of high-profile clients, supporting them in transforming their use of public cloud services. They are looking for Cloud Architects, to join our Cloud Infrastructure Services Business unit, who have real-world experience that goes beyond IaaS (PaaS, SaaS, Microservices, Containers, Serverless) and demonstrable Cloud Engineering knowledge.
