Telecoms Technical Project Manager - 6 Months - MVNO Experience - Inside IR35 - London Based

URGENT Contract role 6m+
Telecoms Technical Project Manager with MVNO experience.
London based and inside IR35.

£600 a day (all inclusive) inside IR35

Key skills.

- Demonstrable experience in Mobile Network projects covering from circuit switching, packet switching and BSS development/deployment
· MVNO - Understands different architecture flavours.
· Exposure to mobile GSM technology from 2G to 5G.
· Understanding of SDLC as well as experience in different project delivery methodologies including agile.
· Able to demonstrate understanding of various Telecommunication Network Elements (e.g. HSS, DRA, STP, SMSC, OCS, PCRF, PDN GW, IMS, SBC) and interdependency between these elements.
· A formal PM qualification Prince 2, PMBOK, PMI etc.
· The usual stuff, Risk analysis, Issue mngmt, Planning, Reporting.
· Stakeholder management, ability to manage stakeholders to C level.
· Demonstrates leading a really tight timescale telco project. And knows the pitfalls.
· Managing demanding stakeholders.
· Experience of managing and working with external vendors other mobile operators

FRG Consulting is extremely pleased to bring to you this B2B / Contract opportunity for an experienced Scrum Master looking for a challenging project in Warsaw.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR
5 years experience as a Scrum Master for a software development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory.
Prior experience building and testing software or implementing DevOps
3 years of experience with scaled Agile (SAFe, LESS) in a hands-on leadership role (e.g., Release Train Engineer, Agile Program Manager)
Knowledge of other approaches in the Agile space: Kanban, Lean, etc.
Knowledge and/or experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games, etc.
Good skills and knowledge of facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
Experience applying a wide variety of well documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (example: numerous Burndown techniques, numerous Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc.)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to communication anywhere from the team level to C-level executives.

Job Description

Project type - Data Transformation

Role - User Researcher for Data Services / UX Data

Contract Length - 6 months (with the view to extend)

Location - Remote

The Data Transformation programme is delivering a new capability/organisation within the end client that will deliver 'provider data products' for consuming data services within Data and Analytics. The programme is delivering real data products, but also standing up to the new organisation and the underlying cloud technology. The data products are delivered by an agile delivery team. This team is looking for a 'user researcher' for data services to join the team.

The User Researcher will be a member of a 10 person agile team that consists of an agile delivery manager, a product owner, an architect and engineers.

The client's definition of the User Researcher role will be more specific and focus on the data products that are being delivered from a user perspective. Key activities/responsibilities will include:

* User research working with the user communities that will consume the products and services to better understand what problems they are trying to solve and how the client can improve the usability of data products and services. This includes drafting a research plan, data collection, data analysis and presentation of insights.
* Performing internal usability testing of the data products and services
* Planning and managing usability testing as part of UAT with a small number of users of the data products and capturing user feedback and insight
* Defining and refining requirements and user stories for the data product backlog, again with a focus on usability and value-add, where relevant
* Data management: Catalogue data to make this discoverable. Report on data quality and manage data quality with data source owners. Model data for reuse across D&A.
* Providing the delivery team with user insight and analytical support
* Stakeholder management support for the Agile Delivery Manager

The User Researcher is somebody with 10+ years of experience in user research and 5+ years of experience in data products and services. Potentially this person has a data analysis background
