    Our IT Consultancy client who specialises in Public Sector projects, is looking for an SC Cleared Business Analyst to work on Identity and Access Management for one of their reputable clients.

    Their goal is to be the leading digital partner of choice for our government clients, so experience working on Public Sector projects is a necessity, ideally with Government Digital Services.

    They need someone who promotes Agile ways of working, engages well with stakeholders and has strong knowledge of IAM.

    Due to the nature of this role, candidates will need be SC Cleared to be considered for the position, and be willing to work in their clients office in Andover 3 days a week.

    Technical Architect, £80,000, Andover (3 days per week)

    Jefferson Frank have a long standing relationship with one of the markets leading cloud consultancies, and are currently partnering to source for a 'Technical Architect' to work on their Java based application.

    The successful candidate will become an integral part of the Hampshire based business unit focusing on servicing clients in consulting, designing and delivering solutions in their Java based application hosted in AWS. With a client already lined up, it is as simple as jumping straight onto the project once you have joined my client's team.

    Below, I have detailed important features of what is required to succeed within the role, what my client will be expecting you to be capable of carrying out on a frequent basis, and finally what they can offer you as an employer.

    Role & Responsibilities

    * Provide technical leadership to the development and infrastructure teams and drive quality in delivery.
    * Take responsibility for leading technical design of systems, services and applications.
    * Justify and communicate design decisions.
    * Orchestrate structured analysis of the current technical landscape to determine sources of technical issues.

    Skills & Requirements

    * Strong understanding of Java application stacks.
    * Demonstrable design experience with either AWS or Azure cloud platform(s).
    * Good working knowledge of opensource and Java technologies including APIs and Microservices.
    * Experience in the following; REST API, Linux, DNS, Configuration of ports/firewalls, IP Networking.
    * Familiarity with Agile development methods.
    * Excellent communication and presentation skills that allow you to communicate with key stakeholders.

    * You must hold active Security Clearance as this is a government project.

    Benefits

    * Basic salary of up to £80,000 depending on suitability to the position.
    * Hybrid working environment (2 days a week from home)

    Senior Associate Security Engineer (AWS) - Financial Services

    Up to £80k - 1 day per week in the central London office - Bonus and Pension



    You will bring a unique perspective to a team that maintains a secure and reliable environment hosted across both cloud and on-premise infrastructure. The Security Operations team is responsible for securing an environment that is dynamic, always growing and evolving - a global network that provides reliable and secure applications 24x7.

    They are looking for a Senior Associate Security Engineer who will work with technical leadership to determine overall security technology, standards and strategy across on-premise and AWS.



    Reporting to the Director, Head of Security Operations, You Will

    * Design, develop, implement and administrate cloud security technologies.
    * Implement and administrate AWS Core Security.
    * Perform Security Monitoring from multiple monitoring sources including firewalls, SIEM and other supporting security tools, identifying events that meet certain criteria, performing incident response activities or escalating them to, and working with, other support teams.
    * Drive Threat Modelling activities across our business, through identifying, understanding threats & mitigations.
    * Participate in Security Incident Response to information security related incidents - and working with the relevant parties to resolve them.
    * Take part in Vulnerability Assessments which involve identifying security weaknesses in infrastructure and systems, assessing the weaknesses and communicating them to the relevant teams for resolution
    * Ensure systems are protected by defining access privileges, control structures, and resources.



    Qualifications

    You Have:

    * 3+ Years of Experience in Security Operations, Security Engineering, or other related Security-type role.
    * 2+ years working with all core AWS Infrastructure Services
    * Experience implementing and maintaining security for cloud-based systems as well as applications in AWS
    * Experience with vulnerability management and VM tools
    * Experience in malware detection, analysis and removal
    * Experience with technologies such as SIEM, Firewall, XDR and hybrid Cloud Security environments

    Preferred

    * Understanding of OWASP Top 10 and typical defense mechanisms
    * AWS Certification(s)
    * Security Certification(s)
