Contract DBT Data Engineer

£450 - £600 (Dependant on experience) a day, Outside IR35.

Fully Remote

12-Month Contract, potential to keep rolling

Jefferson Frank are looking for a contract Data Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in our data engineering initiatives. Your mastery of DBT, Airflow, and Python will be pivotal in constructing efficient data pipelines that enable data-driven decision-making.

The Role and Responsibilities

* Design, build, and maintain data pipelines using DBT, Airflow, and Python.

* Azure / GCP based platform building and optimisation.

* Develop ETL processes to clean, transform, and load data from diverse sources.

* Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across the pipeline.

* Utilize your understanding of DevOps practices to facilitate smooth deployments to production environments. Desired

Skills and Experience:

* Expertise in DBT (Data Build Tool) for transforming and modeling data.

* Familiarity with Apache Airflow for orchestrating complex data workflows.

* Proven experience as a Data Engineer, with a strong portfolio of successful data pipeline projects. Proficiency in Python programming for scripting and data manipulation.

* Knowledge of DevOps tools (such as Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins) is a plus.

* Strong understanding of database concepts, ETL processes, and data warehousing.

Platform Engineer - Up to £65,000 - Hyrbid in Cambridge

Looking for a Platform Engineer for an expanding SaaS platform revolutionizing website optimization globally. Trusted by industry giants like eBay and Accenture, our self-funded venture is experiencing exponential growth (>100% annually).

You will oversee the management and deployment of our AWS infrastructure, maintaining a network of distributed services utalising a range of DevOps tools. DevOps Engineer - Up to £80,000 - Cambridge based
