    Job Requirements, Experience Required:

    * 3 - 5+ years of developing scalable web applications using Java or Python in a SaaS IoT environment dealing with real-time streaming data, web portals, and analytics.
    * Designing, developing and owning AWS Cloud software platforms and SaaS solutions.
    * Supporting highly-available, highly-scalable, globally-supported cloud environments.
    * Hands-on with AWS (API Gateway, Lambdas, Cognito, CloudFormation, Microservices).
    * Familiarity with Big Data tools, data analytics pipelines in AWS.
    * Knowledge and passion for mainline development, CI/CD and high-quality software.
    * Familiarity with the following cloud services and tech stack:

    * Angular, Python, Java, AWS, (legacy) PHP, MySQL, RedShift, Elasticsearch, Aurora, Spark, EMR, Kinesis (Streams, Firehose, Analytics), Lambda, Docker/Kubernetes

    Scientific Software Engineer

    What you will do:

    * Join a group of multidisciplinary scientists and developers who are driven to build the next generation of Drug-Discovery Pipeline.
    * Write state-of-the-art scientific software tools for drug discovery, e.g. tools to processes vast quantities of experimental and simulation data
    * Stay on top of scientific literature enabling you to be at the cutting edge of scientific and technological developments

    Key requirements:

    * Experience developing in modern scientific languages and Fluency in Python
    * A Master's or PhD in Computational Chemistry, Biophysics or related field OR Degree in computer science or a related discipline; OR 2+ years of experience with development with/of chemistry software (RDKit, Openeye, etc)
    * Familiarity with software engineering best practices, including unit tests, code review and version control
    * Superior written and verbal communication skills, including writing and reviewing documentation.
    * Good people/communication skills and enthusiasm for working as a part of a team
    * The willingness and openness to learn new technologies and frameworks
    * Preferred qualifications: the following would be a plus but are not required
    * Experience in developing method using Openeye Toolkits.
    * Running computational chemistry calculations on cloud-based infrastructure.
    * Experience with distributed computing and running simulations on GPUs.
    * Experience with Open source computational chemistry software (OpenMM, RDKit, Psi4)

    Role & Responsibilities

    * Lab-based position responsible for designing and conducting biochemical, molecular, and cellular biology experiments within the oncology and immunology space.
    * Analyzing, interpreting, and preparing summaries of data collected and presenting internally to team members

    Skills & Qualifications

    * B.Sc + 7 years of experience OR .M.Sc + 5 years of experience
    * Hands-on proficiency with Western Blotting, biochemistry, immunofluorescence, qPCR, flow cytometry, ELISA, and other luminescence and fluorescence assay readouts.
    * Proficiency in in-vitro mammalian cell culture techniques (suspension and adherent cells), including cell line maintenance and cryopreservation.
    * Experience with running cell-based assays with small molecule inhibitors in plate-based format (e.g. 96-well).
    * Experience with cell line manipulation (siRNA, CRISPR, lentiviral transduction, transfection, stable cell line selection, clonal isolation, DNA/RNA/protein isolation etc).
    * Strong background in immunoassays including cytotoxicity and measurements of cytokine production and secretion.
    * Isolation and culture of human PBMCs.
