Role & Responsibilities

* Design and Maintenance of data pipelines, integrating from numerous internal and external sources into data warehouse
* Help analylse, re-architect and replatform existing data platforms to new centralised data platform on AWS
* Help develop software componens in Pyspark/Python that interact with AWS
* Identofy data quality issues in data warehouse

Skills & Qualifications

* 2+ years experience in AWS, namely AWS Glue which is a necessity

This role sits within our current team alongside software engineering team, platform engineers & UI/UX designers. Senior Data Engineer | Databricks |

1 - 2 times in office per month, London

£70,000 PA

The primary focus of the role is Databricks Data Engineering. You will be building data pipelines using Databricks, coding using PySpark, and supporting internal applications as the client are moving away from a legacy application into new bespoke applications which rely on Databricks. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and efficient databases to support the functionality and performance of their internal enterprise applications. You will collaborate closely with their development and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal database performance.
