Platform Engineer, London, Remote First, £80,000 - New Year, Great Opportunities

Are you looking for a fresh start, a company where you can actually improve yourself as an engineer?

I am currently working alongside an organisation who put emphasis on developing the engineers, encouraging them to take courses that are paid for + certifications and be part of the biggest running projects in the country.

Their engineers are top class engineers who cooperate with each other. They are fostering a culture of development and mutual respect.

As part of the role, you will take an active part in project design and build, supporting DevOps Engineers and other members of the project teams and supporting the systems that these tools reside on.

You will be expected to stay up-to-date with advancements in in-house disciplines, suggesting approaches, implementing proof-of-concept and contributing to the future of the business.

Sounds good so far? Read on for day to day responsibilities:

* Provision of standard toolsets e.g. AWS, Terraform, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, Linux
* Building environments and pipelines for projects large and small
* Continuous improvement of internal process

It'd be great if you had experience in:

* Experience with any monitoring tools e.g. Prometheus, Grafana
* Experience with any Serverless services e.g. Fargate, Lambda
* Experience with mentoring engineers

What's in it for you?

A lot. In addition to a generous basic salary of up to £80,000 you will also be privy to a range of benefits which you can tailor to suit you. Dentals plans, additional leave, pension scheme etc. What's more is that you will be within an office culture which money can't buy. They have a friendly and casual office culture. You can wave goodbye to those Monday blues.

This company operates on a "remote-first basis". This means candidates need to be willing to travel to the office when the client requires it, which is very seldom.

I'd suggest that if you're interested - we talk. Send your CV to j.mardari@jeffersonfrank.com and call me on 020 3826 6738 for a comprehensive discussion around both this role and other positions which may be of interest.
