* A strong work ethic, integrity, and continues-learning mentality.

Success, money, and fame. In more detail:

* Above market-average salaries, tailored to your seniority level.

AWS Engineer - FinOps Cloud Excellence - AWS Partner

Belgium, Antwerp

  • Up to 1 EUR
  • DevOps Stelle
  • Fähigkeiten: FinOps, AWS, Cloud Excellence
  • Seniority: Mid-level

Jobbeschreibung

FinOps Consultant/Engineer

AWS Premier Partner - Belgium

The best and most advanced AWS Partner in of Belgium is opening a brand new chapter in their business with a niche FinOps Department and, guess what, they need people to join them!

Finops is trying to bring the operational side of cloud computing closer to the financial side of things, and help companies with a good practise of their cloud activities, visibility and optimal cost so they wont pay for what they don't need. Well, who likes paying more for stuff they dont use, right?

What about the candidate's profile?

The FinOps person sits in the middle of development, IT, finance, architecture, and makes sures that the information is available and clear to everyone. He comes up with strategies to optimize the cost of doing business in the cloud, foster communication and make sure people from all the departments understand each other to avoid miscommunication.

We need a certain level of expertise to understand what makes sense in terms of optimization, someone who understands the overall business picture.

So, what are we searching for?

Keep it simple. An AWS profile who likes this type of job.

A person with a technical background, someone who's able to bring people together and talk business, to persuade people, and, of course, willing to be a consultant in the company's cloud excellence centre. Or Pre-sales profiles can also be what we need if they are a bit technical. In general, someone with good knowledge/tech background in AWS infrastructure, someone who doesn't want to do coding all the time. The day-to-day work is mostly conversation and designing processes. Maybe, if the customer needs hands-on work, there will me some technical work to 20% or max 30%. It's mostly meeting with stakeholders, communication plans, reporting, designing processes and business roadmaps.

Massive bonus if you have AWS Well-architected framework experience.

* Languages required: Fluency in English + Dutch
* Start date - the sooner the better but dont sweat :)
* Remote/on-site: Approximately 3 days on-site (you will get to know people and build relationships like proper consultants). Depending on the client, you can expect 1-2 days of remote per week.

Reasons why you should apply

* You're joining one of the best and most reputable AWS Partner in Belgium and globally. What does that mean for your expertise and market-value?
* You're going to get a broad industry experience, expand your network rapidly and participate first in the hottest community events. You'll work with start-ups, scaleups, medium and large enterprise customers in a variety of challenging projects.
* You'll get personalized training and certifications in any AWS module you choose. In many of them. Even all of them if you can! After you obtain some key certification, you'll also see a raise in your monthly salary.
* Earn a competitive gross salary, tailored to your seniority level, and all the benefits on top of that - Lease Car (Tesla is an option) & Fuel Card, Smartphone, Laptop, Health & Group Insurance, Net Allowance, etc. <- That's a permanent contract, as you may understand, not freelance.
* Work from home possibilities, usually up to 3 days per week.
* Events and learning sessions with people from Amazon.
* Bonus
* Your Managers are maybe the coolest people you've ever met, they know AWS inside-out, and they speak your language 100%. Imagine, the hiring process is simply ONE interview!

Sounds good? Then contact Pavlos Diamantopoulos at p.diamantopoulos@jeffersonfrank.com and you'll have a happy memory a year from now!
