This client aim's to resolve some of the final few archaic issues of basic music accounting principles in the industry; what was played, when and where? Who should get paid and how much?

This client looks to bridge the data gap by connecting global consumption, using and analysing accurate metadata and sourcing fast payments to an industry-wide trust platform. Their goal is to unlock creative value and enable greater equality to all artists in the industry, making the world better for music. They have been careful about their strategy ensuring that they do not threaten the role of industry incumbents who play a pivotal role in this mission. The Role:

A significant part of your role will include making performance related improvements to their existing architecture which is cloud deployed. Due to wanting to bring greater efficiency to the technology practices used, you will be working on improving the reliability, durability, scalability and speed of their system. Building quality code and scalable solutions connecting services, containers and databases together with your Node.js competence.

* 3 years experience working with modern JavaScript frameworks including Node, React or Typescript
* Experience augmenting services to the cloud (preference for GCP) with a main, public cloud provider
* Experience with relation databases SQL/NoSQL or MongoDB

You'll be helping to solve one of the last few archaic systems in the industry, devoted to helping smaller artists be accurately paid. You'll be working on greenfield development using modern technologies, allowing you to develop in whatever area you are most passionate about. In addition to this you'll be working in a culturally orientated team with flexible & remote working available.
