Let's be honest: everyone hates telecoms providers. Why? Because it seems like they're just focused on making money, rather than helping their customers. In fact, this is exactly the case - two individuals, who had extensive experience within the telecoms industry, conducted extensive market research and came to this conclusion. When they presented their findings to management, nothing was done to correct this. The companies were simply far too set in their ways to enact massive structural changes to correct the deep set problems in the industry.
Following this, those individuals decided to leave their respective companies and found the world's first purely cloud-native telecoms company. Their vision: to put their customers first, simplify complexity, and modernise the way telecoms companies operate. Five years later, they've seen huge growth, and as a result of that are looking to expand their team of front-end developers.
As a candidate, you will:
* Have an ability to drive the adoption of TypeScript;
* Take ownership of the front-end code base structure, and set the standards/patterns it will follow as the systems are built;
* Have an understanding of middleware, specifically GraphQL APIs;
* Have some experience or willingness to learn about React & Next.JS
This opportunity has numerous benefits for you as a prospective employee! First, you'll be joining a development team which has a 50/50 split of men and women. The working environment is second-to-none, filled with a passionate and loving team of highly skilled individuals. The company in question is a start-up, but one that is already generating enough revenue to be secure financially. Therefore, you have an opportunity to make a huge impact in the company and the wider industry, but without the trade-off of market uncertainty.
The office is based in Stockholm, and some other benefits you will receive include:
* 25 days' vacation
* ITP1 pension
* Shares program
* Up to 60,000 SEK salary (dependent on experience)
* Flexibility to work from home a few days a week
