Full Stack Developer

England, London, Barnet

  • £60,000 to £75,000 GBP
  • Developer Stelle
  • Fähigkeiten: Javascript
  • Seniority: Mid-level

Jobbeschreibung

Full Stack Developer - React, Node and AWS. 5 days per week in Barnet

A construction firm are recruiting for their first in house developer to design and deliver a production-grade internal software system. You'll have a high degree of autonomy and ownership from day one. Responsibilities will include:

* Design, develop and deploy new internal web apps from scratch - starting with a procurement and project finance tool
* Own the full lifecycle: from concept and wireframe, through API and database design, to deployment and iteration
* Build out the front end using React, TypeScript and Tailwind - translating broad requirements into clean UI/UX
* Build and maintain APIs using Node.js and PostgreSQL - architecting scalable, secure server-side code
* Set up and manage AWS infrastructure using Docker and GitHub Actions for CI/CD and automated deployments
* Create dev, staging and production environments, and manage them responsibly
* Collaborate directly with leadership to prioritise features and refine product goals
* Contribute to product decisions - helping shape what gets built and why, not just how
* Lay the groundwork for future engineers by creating reusable components, robust architecture, and clean documentation

You will need 3+ years of commercial full stack experience working with React and Node.js, as well as hands on DevOps capability - you will have deployed production systems to AWS yourself. The successful candidate will be someone who thrives in smaller companies with lean teams and wants to have a big impact. You will be owning problems end to end - infrastructure, deployment, front and back, and comfortable making DevOps decisions.
