My client, working in the Finance and Ecommerce sector, is seeking a skilled Lead Backend Engineer to join their growing team. As a Lead Backend Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining the services that serve as the foundation for the frontends across various platforms including web and native mobile apps. Your responsibilities will include ensuring operational stability, improving developer experience, and contributing to the solution architecture to facilitate ease of development and maintenance. Key Responsibilities:
* Crafting and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure backend services that serve as the backbone for our web frontends.
* Elevating the developer experience by upholding rigorous coding standards and exploring process optimizations.
* Architecting and implementing infrastructure as code solutions for cloud resource provisioning and management.
* Streamlining CI/CD pipelines to enable reliable and efficient deployment of backend services.
* Overseeing cloud infrastructure to uphold the smooth functioning of our backend systems.
* Collaborating closely with cross-disciplinary teams to deliver top-notch solutions.
Requirements:
* Extensive hands-on experience in backend development leveraging .NET in C#.
* Demonstrated proficiency with GitHub Actions or similar technologies.
* A solid grasp of RESTful API design principles and best practices.
* Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code concepts and adeptness with Terraform.
* Competency in managing Azure Cloud infrastructure and deploying services.
* Exposure to observability tools like Datadog for system monitoring.
* Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
* Prior exposure to Agile methodologies and collaborative work environments.
