    Role Description:

    The focus of your role
    * Inputting into proposals, simple to complex.
    * Creating High Level Designs and gaining internal & client approval, following process.
    * Creating Low Level designs from approved High Level Designs
    * Configuring voice platforms, gateways, cloud services, collaboration services and integration.
    * Performing impact assessments on large or complex voice and telephony systems/ networks.
    * Inputting into strategy.
    * Inputting into High Level Designs
    * Performing testing to pre-determined plans and analyse results.
    * Following "Acceptance to Run" process, handing over to support teams.

    What you will bring:
    * Expected to have undertaken other large-scale Voice project roles for at least 5 years.
    * Have demonstrable experience of designing and configuring voice systems, networks and gateways, Video conference services.
    * Have demonstrable experience of collaboration services (Skype/Teams) and migrations.
    * Will typically be qualified with vendor accreditation.
    * Will be able to demonstrate knowledge of voice networks including network security, SIP, ISDN, VOIP, Mobile, video, collaboration services and converged networks.
    * Will have the ability to install, configure and troubleshoot voice & video network Infrastructures for enterprise organisations.
    * An advantage will be Subject Matter Expert in one or more areas
    * Demonstrates behavioural competencies associated with frequent change, urgency and versatility

    SC Cleared Network Architect
    Inside IR35 | 6 Months + extension | On site 2-3 times per week in Barrow | 2 stage interview

    Jefferson Frank are supporting a global leading consultancy who are in pursuit of an SC Cleared Network Architect.

    Security Clearance is required!
    MUST be a sole British national

    You will be working remotely or on a client site, in collaboration with the consultancy and client Architects, Project Managers, SMEs to respond to client requirements. Delivering proposals and projects on time and above customer expectation.

    The focus of your role:
    * Inputting into proposals, simple to complex.

    * Configuring core infrastructure components e.g. Data Centre Fabric, Access/Distribution Switches, routers, WAN, firewalls, load balancers, Authentication servers, Wi-Fi controllers, management tooling.

    * Inputting into strategy.

    What you will bring:
    * Expected to have undertaken other Network Architecture roles for at least 5 years.
    * Have demonstrable experience of designing and configuring Network systems e.g. Data Centre Fabric, Access/Distribution Switches, routers, WAN, firewalls, load balancers, Authentication servers, Wi-Fi___33 controllers, management tooling.
    * Will typically be qualified to Cisco CCIE level or vendor equivalent accreditations
    * Will be able to demonstrate knowledge of network architecture in a secure environment
    * Have a broad understanding of Enterprise Architecture and other technical towers; Hosting, End User Compute, Storage, Security, Apps.
    * Will have the ability to install, configure and troubleshoot LAN/WAN/Voice network Infrastructures for enterprise organisations.
    * An advantage will be Subject Matter Expert in one or more areas

    Jefferson Frank are supporting a client within the public sector who are in pursuit of a - IT Systems Engineer.

    Knowledge and experience of:
    * Developing and testing IT solutions for a development test rig
    * Developing and testing Virtual desktop Infrastructure (VDI) solutions
    * Developing and testing Virtual Machine solutions (VM Ware)
    * Software, V Sphere, VM Ware, desirable: C sharp, zabbix, bamboo
    * Scripting languages, ideally Python and Powershell,
    * Infrastructure hardware (physical rack mounted equipment).
    * Administration functions within a virtualised environment- including virtual resource management, resilience (HA & DRS), clustering and performance monitoring.
    * Orchestration tools (automation, scripting).
    * File systems and storage management (migration, snapshots, allocation).
    * Server operating system administration (Windows and Linux).
    * Containerised software applications.
    * HCI (human computer interfaces).
    * Cabling/patching (Ethernet and Fibre), cable management, clear labelling and patch diagrams.
    * Ability to respond to technical queries and perform troubleshooting investigations where necessary, with full root cause analysis and rectification plan creation.
    * Working in an 'Agile' engineering development environment.

    Specific Key Accountabilities and Deliverables:
    * Compliant technical solutions against contractual requirements and regulations.
    * Design documentation generated, captured, configured and controlled in accordance with company processes.
    * Engineering LCM adherence for all deliverables, Sub Contract Design Reviews and relevant input to project LCM activities.
    * Engineering Lifecycle Management (LCM) adherence for all deliverables, Sub Contract Design Reviews and relevant input to project LCM activities.

    Qualifications and Experience:
    * 5 years experience as a DevOps engineer
    * Knowledge of IT systems in the defence, maritime or closely linked domain and have a comprehensive understanding of how their own systems and activities interact with the overall platform.
    * Knowledge of the complete engineering lifecycle with some experience of operating in a number of phases.
