We are currently looking for a seasoned Technical Project Manager to work across a new start up team for an industry-leading, Import-export giant.

PM to drive infrastructure Security and Software development projects - Focus on liaison with internal and 3rd parties to achieve in the realms of cloud migration, environment upgrades, security measures, implementation and regulatory activities.

Your expert knowledge of modern, pragmatic project management practices including Agile methods will help our teams bring exciting technology to life. Your enthusiasm, technical & business depth, and communication skills will influence stakeholders to drive further customer success.

Role & Responsibilities

* Lead technical projects and initiatives from end-to-end working collaboratively to deliver value early and often.
* Be an advocate for Agile principles and practices so that they can be applied throughout the project lifecycle
* Understand the strategic vision of Enterprise Engineering in order to proactively track and resolve business critical tasks
* Effectively measure the success of projects and offer constructive feedback to all stakeholders
* Build collaborative relationships with all stakeholders and team members in order to successfully manage project lifecycles
* Ensure projects are scoped, approved, scheduled and undertaken in a structured and controlled manner
* Deliver key business benefits based on time critical milestones and prioritisation techniques
* Full accountability for budget and forecast planning for the group
* Excellent technical acumen, ideally working within challenging cloud aligned environments
* Some networking (wired or wireless) knowledge would be a big plus but not critical if the person has the aptitude to learn the basics

Skills & Qualifications

* 5+ years' experience in program management
* Proven experience in building strategies and processes from scratch
* Proven deliverables in a similar industry would be highly desirable

This Client is a large and exciting company who needs an Engagement Manger, who will be a part of the Professional Services Practice Delivery Team, working with their most strategic customers who have very high expectations. This role supports a new service which combines Elastic Engineering Plus (EE+) which delivers a DevOps Native experience to customers and will involve constant engagement with C level customers.

Requirements

* Leads and directs the delivery of services and support to clients on a strategic level.
* Analyses operational processes, escalation procedures, and assessments in order to find ways to improve service and offer value to customers/clients.
* Feedback process management (NPS) with Stakeholders.
* Create and manage a network of cross-functional technical resources within the client environment and with selected partners in order to efficiently match client demand with high-quality Architecture & Engineering expertise.
* Point of contact for customers and partners as part of service delivery

Exciting opportunity with a start up financial services company! Long-Term Contract (£450-£650P/D)

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join and work within an Agile team that is responsible for a suite of software applications. There are multiple work-streams where different business and technology features are being worked through. A blended delivery method of Waterfall and Agile is used.



Key responsibilities:

* Strong project reporting skills with the ability to combine reporting metrics that are not wholly automated
* Ensure the backlog is continually refined and understood by the whole team
* Create a culture of sustainable continuous improvement
* Drive predictable delivery by ensuring impediments and blockers are addressed
* Build a trusting and safe environment within the team where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on healing and problem solving

Qualifications

* Demonstrable experience of performing in a similar role previously for the last 6 years
* Experience in Business, Financial Product Management and at least 3 years of working experience in a financial institution or fin tech company
* Experience leading a team of 20-30 people
* Highly competent in project risks and issues identification, mitigation (risks only) and management; and reliable status reporting
* Demonstrated experience with complex, senior-level stakeholder management and management/leadership of large teams
* Working in a fast-paced, high energy challenger bank/fin tech environment

Key Skills:

* Microservices based Architect on either GO or Java/Springboot in Docker/AWS building scalable and high-volume systems.

* Must have deep knowledge in one or more areas like Payments/Lending/Onboarding/AML/KYC/Onboarding.

* End to end Digital banking designs with a focus on application security.

Responsibilities:

 Defining and driving software architecture and enterprise capabilities (scalability, fault tolerance, extensibility, maintainability, etc.)

 Reporting to head of architecture and working in Agile Scrum Teams to provide architecture support to developers.

 Building High level and detailed solution designs across front end, back end and core banking.

 Driving research and prototypes on leading-edge technologies and how they can be leveraged



Skills and Experience

 Recent Retail Banking/Fintech/Payments domain experience in Digital projects.

 7+ years of experience in Architecture with a prior background software development for regulated companies where security is at the forefront

 Architecting or hands-on development experience within cloud (preferred AWS) is a MUST

 Backend toolset: Java/SpringBoot with experience of designing Microservices in Kubernetes in AWS

 Mobile App toolset: SWIFT/KOTLIN

 Front end toolset: React

 Familiarity Agile DevOps for code deployment using CI/CD framework

 Experience with API development (REST, SOAP, RPC, Spring IoC); Swagger

 PSD2/Open Banking and SCA is preferred
