Security Architect - Up to £75,000
Hybrid in Manchester once every two weeks
Looking for a Security Solution Architect to join our Digital Technology Architecture team. You'll shape our technology strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and delivering high-quality solution designs. Collaborate closely with the Information Security team to define our security roadmap and enhance our security posture from an architectural point of view.
As a Security Solution Architect, you will:
* Develop and communicate current and future state architectures, focusing on infosec and related areas.
* Assess and introduce new technologies effectively.
* Partner with stakeholders across functions to influence outcomes from ideation to implementation.
* Govern system designs to uphold standards and patterns.
* Drive transformation roadmaps and contribute to IT strategy evolution.
* Perform threat modeling and define secure technical patterns.
* Verify secure patterns through various testing methods.
Skills and Experience:
* Understanding of cloud security controls, ideally in AWS or knowledge of GCP and Azure.
* Familiarity with secure coding principles and ecommerce threat landscape.
* Experience in security governance and agile/DevSecOps environments.
* Strong communication and influencing skills.
* Awareness of IT industry trends and vendor neutrality.
* Desirable certifications and experience in AWS/GCP/Azure architectures, API-first design, and retail/ecommerce environments.
