Position: Cloud Platform Software Developer

Location: Fort Collins, Colorado

This organization designs and markets two cutting-edge platforms to oversee distributed energy resources (DER) encompassing solar, storage, flexible load, conventional generation, and intelligent electric vehicle charging. These platforms cater to both behind-the-meter and utility applications. Collaborating with partners such as developers, integrators, energy service providers, and OEMs, the team aims to deliver impactful solutions to energy consumers and electric utilities.

Role and Responsibilities: We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Software Developer with expertise in OpenStack (or similar technologies) and a minimum of 3 years of experience to join our software team. Responsibilities encompass guiding our offshore software development team in the expansion of our Wave Cloud Applications infrastructure and services. This includes providing requirement specifications, collaborating on development efforts, ensuring alignment with specifications, and overseeing the deployment and management of Cloud Services. The role also involves supporting customer-facing initiatives led by our Solution Delivery team and bridging the gap between Solution Delivery and Cloud Platform development and maintenance.

Required Skills:

* Cloud Computing Infrastructure Development

* Proficiency in implementing Cloud Computing Infrastructure, such as OpenStack
* Familiarity with DNS configurations, Load Balancing, and Network Monitoring systems
* Experience with Unix/Linux systems
* Competence with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS cloud services
* Capability to establish and manage private and public cloud services
* Ability to create control applications for activating and managing Cloud Services * Full Stack Development
* Mastery of front-end technologies including JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5, and third-party libraries such as ReactJS, Angular, and jQuery
* Knowledge of server-side programming languages like Java, .NET, Ruby, and Python
* Experience with REST API and Microservices
* Familiarity with web application security concepts
* Understanding of DBMS technologies such as SQLServer, MongoDB, and MySQL
* Proficiency in UI/UX and basic prototype design
* Familiarity with Apache servers and a strong foundation in Linux * Basic Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
* 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
* Strong aptitude for crafting clean, modular, readable, and testable code
* Proficiency with CI/CD practices and production deployment
* Ability to conceptualize and construct proposed systems
