Job Title: Senior AWS Data Engineer

Location: Oslo, Norway (Hybrid/Remote options available)

Job Description: We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior AWS Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior AWS Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining our data infrastructure on AWS. You will work closely with our data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to ensure that our data architecture is robust, scalable, and efficient. Your expertise will be essential in enabling us to deliver high-quality data-driven solutions to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines on AWS.
* Develop and optimize ETL processes to ensure data quality and reliability.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
* Implement best practices for data management, security, and governance.
* Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure smooth operation and minimal downtime.
* Mentor and guide junior data engineers, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services and industry trends to continually improve our data architecture.


* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
* 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on AWS.
* Proficiency in AWS services such as S3, Redshift, Glue, EMR, Lambda, and Kinesis.
* Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala.
* Experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modeling.
* Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

* AWS Certified Data Analytics or Solutions Architect certification.
* Experience with big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, and Kafka.
* Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
* Background in the agricultural or agritech industry is a plus.
