Lead Cloud Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
The role focuses on the development, implementation and ongoing maintenance of the core Infrastructure and Cloud based platforms and associated systems.

The ideal candidate will have a robust background in designing, constructing, and resolving issues within infrastructure or cloud-based solutions, coupled with a profound understanding of industry best practices. Depending on the area of specialization, a combination of the following skills is required:

* Proficiency in developing and deploying physical infrastructure, encompassing clients, operating systems, printing, networking, web filtering, audio-visual systems, and software distribution methodologies.
* Hands-on experience in crafting, implementing, configuring, and maintaining components and tools within the AWS Cloud Platform, including Lambda and Glue.
* Practical expertise in designing, deploying, configuring, and supporting components and tooling within the Microsoft Azure Cloud Platform.
* Practical understanding of designing, implementing, configuring, and supporting tooling and environments within the Microsoft Modern Workplace ecosystem, such as Microsoft Managed Desktop (MMD), Microsoft Application Management (MAM), E5 Licensing, Defender, etc.
* Proficiency in automation programming, preferably with a focus on PowerAutomate, to streamline manual processes, enabling colleagues to concentrate on value-added tasks and minimizing the risk of human error.
* Ability to self-manage development, tasks, and time, proficiently adapting to both Agile and traditional delivery methodologies.
* Experience in adhering to infrastructure and cloud-based platform security best practices.
* Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of handling intricate data and elucidating challenges in terms understandable to non-technical personnel.
* Strong communication skills, encompassing both technical and non-technical domains, to facilitate effective stakeholder management.
* Meticulous attention to detail, coupled with the capability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
