Senior AWS Software Engineer

Role: Senior Software Engineer- Cloud Engineer

Salary: Flexible for the right candidate

Location: Fully remote position- ideally EST time zone (can be flexible)

Company Overview: Billing and Subscription company

Day to Day:

* Building new cloud native services- AWS
* Working with a close knit team of developers
* Individual contributor, writing code for various product lines- JavaScript. Implementing Front-end Solutions
* Building out their platform to support subscribers and the billing of those subscribers
* Experienced software engineer with a background in building on the AWS platform.
* Understanding of business operations and how an application could impact a business.
* Some architectural understanding is ideal. Coder first.

Key Skills:

* Architecture understanding
* Extensive AWS knowledge

* EC2, Lambda, RDS, VPS
* MongoDB for NoSQL database

* Experience with Step functions
* Infrastructure experience
* Programming experience: JavaScript, TypeScript
* Soft Skills:

* Adaptable, self-starters, collaborative

* Enthusiastic
* Sharp
* Ability to come up with good solutions
* Consultant experience
