Swift Engineer

Job Description



A SWIFT Technical Assurance SME is required for a long-term contract with a world renowned banking institution based in London.



Responsibilities:

* Ensure new SWIFT estate and interfaces design are fit for purpose.

* Balance short-term and long-term interests.

* Drive technical expertise for the bank and #x27;s external payment interfaces.

* Support Agile methodology and help teams meet delivery commitments.

* Participate in supplier processes, code reviews, and migration planning.

* Manage tasks and prioritize effectively.

* Engage with external vendors and mentor/coach in SWIFT and messaging.



Requirements:

* Empowered, trusted, and knowledgeable in your field.

* Strategic thinking, prioritization, and political awareness.

* Understanding of complex architecture and business processes.

* Passion for technology, positive attitude, and exceptional analytical skills.

* Independent and adaptable in fast-paced environments.

* Experience with SWIFT products/interfaces, ISO 20022, RTGS/CHAPS, and large IT projects.

* Knowledge of networking protocols, distributed systems, microservices, and containerization.
