up to £70,000 DOE

My client are one of the largest managed cloud service providers in the UK, they are seeking a Professional Services Project Manager / Scrum Master to lead, coordinate and monitor Professional Services projects from initiation through delivery for complex client engagements.

You will need to build relationships with the customer ensuring technical projects are completed on schedule and to specification.

This role needs to ensure there are always adequate resources available to effectively deliver and meet the project timescales. This role also requires that you work closely with the Customer Success Manager, Tech Support Team Lead, Account Managers and the Sales Team.

A high level of customer interaction is required with projects ranging from straight 3 tier application deliveries to large scale full lifecycle / agile projects

Role & Responsibilities

* Effectively leads, drives and executes projects using SCRUM methodology in order to achieve outcomes that meet the customer's success criteria.
* Act as the primary point of contact for all Public Cloud Customers during the Project Delivery phase.
* Setup and lead project initiation calls with new customers.
* Liaise with the Customer, Solutions Architects, Sales and Accounts Managers to clarify requirements and user needs.
* Ensure a high-level design is produced by the presales cloud solution architect prior to any project initiation.
* Weekly reporting of the status of each ongoing project (including Project Risks) to the Public Cloud Director and wider Management Teams.
* Organise and attend customer project review meetings (as and when required as part of the engagement).
* Setup and lead hand over calls with the customer, Account Manager and Service Manager.
* Complete engagements and ensure all relevant documents have been produced and/or updated.
* Manage more complex internal Projects when required.
* Provide input and take an active role in the Public Cloud Management Team.

Skills & Qualifications

* Agile Project Management - SCRUM Master
* Good People Management Skills.
* Excellent Customer facing skills - good communicator (email / telephone, documents both internal and external facing).
* Assertiveness and good negotiating skills - the role requires a strong individual who can work with our customers to agree dependencies, deliverables, and timescales; having the ability to work with our customers to resolve any differences or concerns whilst considering the commercial, reputational and technical impacts of both the customer and UKFast.
* Have an attention to detail and desire to follow and develop processes - must be able to adhere to the regulations and compliance of public sector customers.
* Ability to multi-task - this role will involve the individual in several important and often concurrent activities across projects; Experience producing customer deliverable documentation such as plans and reports.

* Programme Manager:

* Proven track record that all deliverables and responsibilities have been met or exceeded.
* Pass the certifications listed above (desirable) or demonstrate good competency on the job.

* PMO Project Manager:

* Proven ability to deliver internal large scale business transformation projects.
