SC Cleared - Security Architect (AWS) - Contract

SC Security Architect | 12 months | Inside IR35 | 2 stage Interview | 2 x per week at Sheffield or Blackpool client site.

Active SC Clearance is required.

Tech: AWS & Kubernetes/Containerisation

You will:

* Understand the client needs to define system specifications
* Plan, architect and design of a technology solution and technology blueprint
* Develop design patterns for data services
* Technical governance and design assurance to the project
* Communicate system requirements to software development teams
* Evaluate and select appropriate software or hardware and suggest migration methods
* Oversee assigned projects/programmes and provide guidance to team members
* Ensure the implementation of agreed architecture and infrastructure
* Address technical issues, concerns, ideas, suggestions, and influence microservices based architecture
* Monitor systems to ensure they meet both user needs and business goals and support with implementation and governance

Requirements and skills:
Proven experience as a security architect
Hands-on experience with software development and system administration
Understanding of strategic IT solutions
Experience in project management, solution roadmap development and service-oriented architecture (SOA)
Familiarity with various operating systems (eg Windows, UNIX) and databases (eg Oracle)
Experience in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure)
Client facing skills and an excellent communication skill
