Given that we have seen technology democratise the concept of the 'platform' (read: the printing press allowing for companies to broadcast their perspective in a way previously only seen by kingdoms; Social media sites, giving the power to instantaneously broadcast your thoughts to the planet), it doesn't seem too great a leap to imagine a future wherein our currency is also democratised; without the need of governmental regulation, without the risk of international tariffs or unrest in far flung corners of the globe damaging the value of your currency.

Our client recognises the potential here; and having seen the immense success in quick and easy payment providers such as PayPal, they have opted to strive to fill that niche on the market. After all, if crypto gets its value from being used more widely, doesn't it make sense to position yourself as a distributor, an enabler of the use of cryptocurrencies?
As such, they are looking to scale up their internal tech team and are seeking a highly skilled DevOps engineer to come and join their distributed team and work towards implementing highly secure, available, and scale-able infrastructure within AWS.
The role is very technically challenging; you will be working in a team of 3, establishing a strong DevOps culture, and working with all things CI/CD!
Currently going through a revolutionary scaling up; you will be conducting a migration over to an entirely AWS hosted infrastructure; ensuring all possible parts are automated with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins is a must!)
You will be working closely with Infrastructure as Code; so experience with AWS CloudFormation and Terraform are essential.
You will be working closely with developers, so good coding abilities in Python, Bash, Powershell or similar is essential!
Finally, all work is done within a microservice architecture so experience of working with containers and orchestration tools is key to the role!
