Java Developer | Lvl 4 & 6 | SC Cleared | Inside IR35 |

Rate: Varies between lvl 4 & 6 (max 540 per day)

Location: Hybrid, may require some travel to Reading office and other contractual bases

Duration: 6 months initial

Jefferson Frank are looking for Mid and Senior level Java Developers to on-board for a 6 month initial contract, you will need to be SC Cleared to be considered for this role and be eligible to work Inside IR35.

Overview:

This programme is in the process of transforming its legacy technology stack. As a Java Technical Architect, you will take a lead position in its transition to a cloud-ready solution built with DevOps principles by providing decision making and technical leadership, sharing your Java expertise and providing advice to other technical architects.


Role Requirements:

You will need:

* Extensive knowledge of Java / Java EE, current and legacy versions, including best practices and patterns for code migrations
* Best practice knowledge in relation to continuous integration / delivery pipelines (Jenkins or alike)
* Experience in setting up test automation frameworks (Cucumber, Selenium, REST Assured etc)
* Configuration as a code
* Continuous inspection tooling
* Good understanding and knowledge of DevOps practices, principles and philosophy
* Excellent communication skills

Desirables:

* Cloud knowledge / experience (AWS / Azure)
* Infrastructure as a code
* Containerisation
* Configuration management tooling
