Network Architect | SC cleared | 6 months
Jefferson Frank are currently supporting one of the largest IT consulting services in search for an experienced Network Architect to join a team responsible for design work across a wide client base in sectors such as Energy and Utilities and local Government.
The candidate must have an active SC security clearance.
Network Architect Requirements:
- In-depth expertise in network design
- Previous design experience of LAN & WAN
- Broad experience on a range of Firewalls - Cisco, Fortigate, Checkpoint and Palo Alto
- Experience writing both HLD & LLD
- Strong familiarity and subject matter expertise in relation to Switches, Routers, Firewalls, Change Control, Implementation
Duties and responsibilities:
* As a Network Infrastructure Architect you will be an SME in networks; able to define, validate, and provide cost solutions for projects and bids for customer requirements.
* Responsibilities will include creating design documentation (Low Level Design-LLD, High Level Design-HLD), cost estimates, bids, pre-sales support, and best practice documentation on the network element of designs, transitions and implementations.
* You will be accountable for the successful handover of deliverables to the service support team.
* You will be able to manage high levels of ambiguity when dealing with emerging requirements, able to cope when under pressure, self-motivated, and possessing a flexible and pro-active approach.
