Lead Data Engineer - AWS

We are working with one of the top EdTech companies across the world, that aims to streamline the educational process in many different ways!

Education and learning is such an important part of everyone's life, and this platform aims to improve teaching methods, marking, assessments and much more across the industry

The SaaS platform you will help create will continuously digitalise the education industry, impacting everyone from school children locally in Norway, to University students around the globe

And because of this, requires a solid data platform to give users extensive analysis of the assessments, and the wider education industry

You will work with some of the best people in the market who are all highly motivated and brings many additional benefits to working in a company like this.

My client requires the following skills for the role

Experience

- 3-5 years experience
- Cloud architecture mainly with AWS
- Strong experience with building data pipelines, and large data set processing
- Experience in programming with Python
- Good experience with Apache Airflow and Spark
- Databricks experience is particularly interesting
- Other Frameworks - EMR, S3, Spark, Tensorflow
- Masters Degree
