Lead Platform Engineer - Up to £100,000 + 15% bonus - Hybrid, once a week in Central London

Looking for a Lead Platform Engineer to join a world leader in the domain registry industry. You will be leading a team as a pivotal role, leading the build of a new platform which is of great importance to the core of internet infrastructure.

You will be leading a team from a technical standpoint as well as collaborating with varying other teams, providing your expertise to ensure seamless integration. In addition to the platform development, you will also provide an architectural outlook to the road map and design, giving your expertise in everything Linux, Networking and DNS.

Looking for experience in:

* Expert RedHat Linux experience for at least 5 years, utilising Satellite.
* Expert knowledge when it comes to DNS & Networking (Bind, Unbound, PowerDNS ect)
* Great knowledge in Virtualization (Linux, KVM, VMware ect).
* Strong IaC experience (Ansible).
* Proficient with some Scripting Languages such as, Python, Perl, Bash ect.



This role is not a management position, you will report into the Engineering Manager and be leading a team from a technical viewpoint only, so no day to day management tasks, strictly hands on, providing ad-hoc technical support for other team members.

This is a Hybrid based role with 20% (once a week) in office in central London (Liverpool Street Station).



Salary is dependent on experience but looking to pay up to £100,000 + 15% bonus + 7% matched pension, for the right individual.
