AWS Lead Developer - Typescript | CDK | Node.js | Outside IR35

Jefferson Frank are working in partnership with a very exiting client that are seeking to on board an experienced AWS Lead Developer.

Role is Outside IR35 and you will be working with a team of talented engineers. You will have the opportunity to work on greenfield projects and enhancement of existing applications. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working independently or closely within a team, have strong communication skills and a passion for programming and technology.

Role with be hybrid working with two days on site expected - Tuesday and Thursday.

* AWS Lead Developer
* 6 months initial
* Outside IR35

Role Description:

* Working extensively on maintaining and scaling a platform built using Typescript on AWS
* Migrating existing platforms over to an AWS serverless architecture
* Playing an active role in architectural design
* Leveraging existing internal platform infrastructure to develop greenfield services in Typescript
* Developing modern CI/CD pipelines
* Maintaining and evolving the CDK / CloudFormation deployments templates
* Maintaining REST APIs
* Developing and supporting Lambda functions
* Taking responsibilities of cross-product DynamoDB database modeling

Requirements:

* 3+ years' of commercial experience in development
* Typescript - Must Have
* Node.js - Must have
* AWS including knowledge of:

* CDK (Typescript)
* DynamoDB
* S3
* Cloudfront
* Lambda
* EC2
* RDS
