Lead DevOps Engineer - Up To £120,000 DOE - London/Remote/Hybrid

Seeking the talents of a seasoned professional with experience in Leading and/or participating as Senior Cloud Engineering Team focused on Cloud Platform implementation.

Our project team are currently working on a Payments innovation programme on behalf of a leading tier one banking institution that is revolutionising the Payments landscape

Our client is a leading banking institution that is building and migrating to a new ecosystem in the cloud. the role sits as part of the core data and digital transformation team that is supporting a large infrastructure group working on this programme.

Proficiency within:

* DevOps engineering
* Technical solutions architecture design and delivery
* Development and Coding Java
* TDD
* Code review
* Infrastructure as code
* Kubernetes
* GCP, AWS or Azure
* Data and Development and Automation
* Leading teams
* On Prem migrations to Cloud
* Cloud Native principles

Strong experience in:

* Pipelines and CI/CD, GitOps concepts
* UNIX OSs
* Docker and tool containerization (Kafka, Zookeeper, Grafana)
* Kubernetes and knowledge in Cloud Native Foundation Landscape
* Kafka

Preferred experience in:

* Experience of Infrastructure for GCP, AWS, or Azure
* Open-source technology such as Kubernetes
* GKE or K8
* Security for these types of platforms
* Experience with Helm
* Jenkins and a shared library architecture for automation
