Software Consultant

Job Title: Java Software Consultant for Norway's Public Infrastructure Project

We are seeking an experienced Java software consultant to join our team working on one of Norway's most exciting and critical infrastructure projects. As a Java software consultant, you will be responsible for designing and implementing high-quality software solutions using the latest Java technologies to build the public infrastructure of Norway.

Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to design and develop software solutions that meet project requirements.
* Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in Java.
* Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and compliance with best practices.
* Work with testing teams to ensure that software solutions are thoroughly tested and meet quality standards.
* Support and maintain existing software solutions, and troubleshoot and resolve issues as needed.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
* At least 2+ years of experience in Java/.NET software development.
* Strong experience with Java frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate.
* Experience with Agile development methodologies.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Preferred qualifications:

* Experience working on large-scale, complex software projects.
* Knowledge of Norwegian culture, language, and business practices.
* Experience with software architecture and design patterns.
* Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices.
