Here at Jefferson Frank, I am working with a truly unique and exciting Fintech client which is based in Stockholm. This company has a focus in 2 key area's, Banking & Finance and Listed Companies. Within these area's they offer a number of niche products with a focus on user experience. Their infrastructure from multiple products means they work with thousands of professional users which work at some of the largest and most powerful financial institutions across Sweden. These range across the spectrum from banks, institutional investors and listed companies.
The owner data service holdings is their main and primary product. It's the most complete and frequently updated ownership database for listed companies in the Nordics by a distance which provides powerful, analytical insights to it's professional users daily. As the company is still owned by their co-founders, they continue to focus on developing powerful yet user-friendly digital products for financial market's.
In this position, you'll be joining in a senior position where you will work closely with the CTO on managing the existing infrastructure for their owner data service holdings product. This infrastructure is built on a combination of Java and Golang (Golang experience is not essential however will be preferred), learning opportunities with this will be provided. Furthermore, containerisation technologies are used (Docker & Kubernetes) as they have developed a microservices model which is deployed via GCP.
This is a hands on, coding heavy position in a rapidly growing organisation where new features and iterations of programmes are constantly being developed. You'll be responsible for a small, highly motivated and talented team of developers. You'll need to be considered a generalist with knowledge across a broad range of area's in development, both comfortable with client and server side as well as infrastructure. You'll also need to have an interest in web development.
* Strong experience with Java or .NET (minimum 3 years)
* Further experience with containerisation technologies, cloud and/or web development
* Swedish speaking
* Golang experience
* Interest in stock market/financial analytics tools
