The Company?

Regarded as a very well-established player in a niche Fintech domain, this client is a large organisation who's SaaS product supports with automating and scaling payment processes for their customers. We all work and we all want to be paid on time. They work with a mix of customers from your agile, market disrupting start-ups to your global and well recognised brands. Their product is their business, their processes are highly automated which is a significant reason they're at the forefront of the industry.

The Role?

If you have a track record in Java development you'll be a perfect fit. Their tech team (which is at the core of the business) is setup with Developers, DevOps and consultants, all set into sub-teams which are currently breaking down a dated monolith architecture into Microservices. You'll be one of the most senior in the team where you're expected to advise and lead from the front. Your team will depend on you for your technical experience and know-how of large IT systems in addition to your knowledge of microservices-based architectures.

This client is looking for creative, hard working senior developers as you'll be continuously developing new functionalities for their product and business cases. There are regular meetings/brainstorming sessions to depict the best way of moving forward. Another core focus to the team is their AWS cloud strategy which all of your solutions will need to abide by.

Whats next?

If you're a motivated Java developer this client would love to hear from you. Having been based in Sweden for years you will need to speak fluent Swedish in addition to having a minimum of 5+ years Java experience. A familiarity with serverless, microservices based systems from previous projects is not deemed essential however would be considering beneficial.
