Jefferson Frank are delighted to be working with a Stockholm-based Fintech client, providing B2B services to their network of 65'000 customers across Nordic countries. Original founded to provide financial services to personal bank accounts such as the ones you and I own, they switched to a corporate market which has accelerated the success of the business, resulting in revenue doubling year on year for the past 4 years. This has lead to them being recognised as being one of the fastest growing companies in Sweden in the last year. They operate with a versatile and agile product that allows customers to pay invoices with a credit card WITHOUT having to register with a financial institution. This makes their service flexible and makes it an efficient operation for all parties concerned. Furthermore, they charge a 3% fee for their services making them more affordable than factoring or loaning from a bank. In addition to this, they run a customer loyalty programme which allows customers to earn points on their spending which further incentives the use of their service.

Since switching to a B2B client base this has accelerated the success of this client. In combination with this impressive market performance they have caught the eye of investors which is mostly due to the €5 million in turnover achieved. Further complimenting this they've grown 500, 700 and 1100% in the last 3 years. All of this means they have acquired €15 million in funding since the beginning of 2021. Now in a significant they're in an aggressive hiring mode to allow them to continue moving from strength to strength throughout the remainder of 2022 and beyond. The Fintech domain is an area of tech which continues to grow in popularity, with companies such as the one described now is a great time to be joining this area of the market due to the increased demand for digital, financial services.



The Role:

This client is hiring for a Technical Lead to take ownership of one of their client facing applications following a team restructuring due to the growth of the development department.This is a hands on, technical role where your primary responsibility will be the management of your application from an architectural point of view, running sprints and converting the business requirements past from the product manager that you will work alongside into tech stories for your team.

You'll work cross-functionally with the other members of senior management to devise & deliver on the technical strategy/roadmap for the future where you report into the CTO. You'll also be working on the application; building API's troubleshooting and fixing performance related issues and developing scalable and reliable solutions. In addition to this you will have some non-technical responsibilities including mentoring and training the team, aiding them with their own personal development.

Requirements:

* Previous experience from a similar role in a position of leadership
* Strong full-stack experience with Node.JS or React (minimum 3 years)
* Cloud experience - this client works with GCP but will consider Azure or AWS applicants
* Experience managing microservices architecture's

Preferable Requirements:

* Strong interest or previous experience with Fintech projects
