Cloud Architect (GCP or AZURE or AWS) Europe-wide

At my client, you will have the opportunity to work with leading technologies as they work with the world's leading cloud platform infrastructure providers, including Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure. We are now looking for Senior Azure Cloud Architects to join our team in Austria.

Your daily work and the solutions we build:

As a Cloud Architect you will work on various customer projects, from building new infrastructures and migrations to audits and Big Data. Your day-to-day work may include everything from implementing configuration management infrastructure to conducting workshops and making design recommendations to a technical team.

You'll also become a trusted advisor to high-profile companies and manage client relationships and roadmap. All in all, you'll have a selection of different "hats" to put on, and you'll have the luxury of seeing client projects through from inception to release.

What we'd like to see:

Extensive knowledge of Azure Cloud and its services.
Consulting and team leadership skills with a customer-centric mindset.
Ability to build solution architectures for availability, performance and cost.
Solid understanding of on-premises technologies (e.g. VMware, OpenStack, or Hyper-V).
Experience with deploying and managing large scale applications.
Background as a Linux/Windows system administrator or backend developer would be ideal.
Experience with configuration management systems (Ansible or similar) and container technologies (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker).
Expertise in continuous integration/continuous deployment environments.
Scripting skills.
As we have various opportunities to work internationally, e.g. in the Nordic countries, travel in Finland and/or other locations in Europe may be required (subject to residency restrictions).
