The Company:

This role is with a pioneer and future leader of data and analytics within the music sector. This sector is slowed down and over-complicated by the inefficient systems of the past which are still present at all levels (your small start-ups to your multi-national organisations). This is what the client aims to rectify and have set out on a mission to transform the industry; creating new revenue streams, consolidating the data and de-cluttering the admin. All to holistically connect the industry and bring it to the present day.

This client operates on one mission, Fair Pay for Every Play. They're driven by inclusivity and transparency, they want every artist whether they have 100 listens or 100 million, to be paid correctly, accurately and fairly without removing the role of industry incumbents. In short, they're the agent to ensure that the basic questions of music streaming are effectively and reliably answered. What was played, when, where and how much should everyone be paid.

This client now builds and runs a collection of sites which contribute to their single mission. Including AI analytics, market insights, financial forcasting and publishing rights. They build a better world for music using innovative technologies that tracks online music sources and translates them into meaningful music consumption reports for royalty collection.

You'll work alongside the development team, troubleshooting infrastructure related issues, performing container optimisation's and delivering CI/CD system improvements. In addition to this you will add value and be actively helping the client move forward with new development, building necessary integration's to support new and evolving software products and customer needs. As automation tools are a fundamental part of their infrastructure you will be making adjustments to the system to improve efficiency and effectiveness as well as documentation of infrastructure tools and services.
