Original founded to provide financial services to personal bank accounts such as the ones you and I own, they switched to a corporate market which has accelerated the success of the business, resulting in revenue doubling year on year for the past 4 years. This has lead to them being recognised as being one of the fastest growing companies in Sweden in the last year. They operate with a versatile and agile product that allows customers to pay invoices with a credit card WITHOUT having to register with a financial institution. This makes their service flexible and makes it an efficient operation for all parties concerned. Furthermore, they charge a 3% fee for their services making them more affordable than factoring or loaning from a bank. In addition to this, they run a customer loyalty programme which allows customers to earn points on their spending which further incentives the use of their service.
Since switching to a B2B client base this has accelerated the success of this client. In combination with this impressive market performance they have caught the eye of investors which is mostly due to the €5 million in turnover achieved. Further complimenting this they've grown 500, 700 and 1100% in the last 3 years. All of this means they have acquired €15 million in funding since the beginning of 2021. Now in a significant they're in an aggressive hiring mode to allow them to continue moving from strength to strength throughout the remainder of 2022 and beyond. The Fintech domain is an area of tech which continues to grow in popularity, with companies such as the one described now is a great time to be joining this area of the market due to the increased demand for digital, financial services.
This client is in the process of splitting their development team so they are more efficiently structured for growth in the future with teams taking responsibility for specific applications. In this role the candidate will be working on a mix of new development and performance related improvements. You'll be expected to provide input onto how the system is built up and functions so strong knowledge of OOP is essential. Your priorities will including building scalable and sustainable, high-quality solutions for their microservices architecture. Cloud experience is not an essential requirement however an understanding of how the microservices architecture is formulated and deployed through GCP.
You'll be building REST API's, connecting modules and features to the architecture and corresponding databases (MongoDB). Due to the new customers which are being onboarded ar a monthly rate, you will be working on making performance related improvements to the full system. Although not essential, previous experience working with Fintech roles and/or companies will be preferred to provide context and analytical insight to the rest of the team when working on projects and tasks.
* 1 year experience working with React.js
* Strong understanding/experience with microservices architectures
* Interest for working with Fintech
* Experience with cloud services for data storage and deployment (Google Cloud Platform)
